I hated soccer until I found this show 4 years ago and was finally taught some of its intricacies. I’m grateful for it and its creators.
what I am NOT grateful for is the band of losers from a shit-town who bring their classless, identity-less brand of fanaticism across the pond to a country where we just don’t take things this far. GO back to Liverpool. Oh you don’t want to? I don’t blame you… But if you’re going to stay here, acquire a bit of decency and maybe even some education and a life so we can avoid future sadness.
All the people defending the LFC fans should consider, yes- what was said was wrong, but was it really worth taking a show off the air and worse – threatening children? if the answer to those questions, especially the 2nd one, is yes, then get the F out of this country. I can’t get over how disgusting these people are. Losers. Get a life – beyond football. Jesus.

It should come as no surprize to anyone that the one that calls himself,”The Truth” is a liar and a douchbag. Earlier he wrote that Tim Vickery had joined the boycott. Well Mr.(wouldn’t know what the truth was if it kicked him the nuts) Truth, just got a reply to a email to Mr. Vickery not a half an hour ago and he’s NOT joined the boycott. So using your own M.O. it seems as though you got some issues with the truth. So that being the case why should we believe anything that you say. You go on and on about Steven has lied to us about things, and till this point you’ve held youself up as the bench mark for the truth. Seems like a case of the pot calling the kettle black. Deal with it douchbag!!

If you approach this objectively, it looks like there is blame on both sides. I will miss the show but I really wont miss cohen’s tireless rants about the things he doesn’t like. I really feel worse for Kenny, just an innocent bystander.

Growing up in the USA, soccer wasn’t a part of my life. As I discovered it later in life (five years ago) I became a fan of the EPL and UEFA tournaments…also through this process I found World Soccer Daily…

One of the benefits of not born in Europe, is I didn’t have any alliances…I could just watch and observe/appreciate the game and all the teams…not anymore…

F*** Liverpool
F*** Chelsea
F*** All their fans, even the ones that try to blame it on Hoolies…especially that B**** that called towards the end of the last show saying “Oh it’s too bad, but there are good Liverpool fans…” Bull***,

I had a Steven Gerrard England National Team Jersey, I burned that F***** when I got home from work…..F*** Gerrard….

I thought I despised the New York Yankees….but they never pulled this kind of s***….

I hereby give my pledge to Manchester United (American owned baby)….and go any team that’s playing Liverpool or Chelsea….

I want to thank Steven and Kenny for all the shows they put out. Both have made my passion for the beautiful game grow beyond what I ever thought possible. It is still hard to stomach such a loss. I hope that the LFCNY can now move on and get back to kicking puppies. Tossers!! Rot in hell!!

Tragic. The loss of this show will not be soon forgotten. It’s been a day now since I head the news and it’s just starting to sink in. I will miss hearing Gordon, Dave in Seattle, Lawrence, Andy in Philly… it sounds ridiculous but I feel like I am losing my connection to a group of friends.

I don’t think there is any other show in any form of media that I would regularly listen to for two hours every day. WSD brought soccer to my life as an American. There is no possible way I would be the fan of this game that I am today if it were not for this show.

The loss of this show is one of those events that makes you hate a sports team forever, and makes you ensure that your children and your children’s children hate that team forever. This surely means nothing to the LFC supporters who are responsible, however it will effect LFC’s pocket, and money translates directly into on field performance in no other sport like world football. I pray for relegation for LFC.

I came back from vacation and my stomach flipped when I saw that the itunes description said it was the last show!! I’ve been listening for 4 years and I can’t begin to explain how valuable a resource you guys have been. It is unbelievable that these bullies have thrown a tantrum and gotten their way. The only silver lining is that by doing what they’ve done these LFC supporters have proven just how despicable they are.

I hope you guys come back bigger and better and I thank you whole heartedly for all the hard work you guys have put into this show. I’ve written your sponsors in support of you and I plan to write to all of the people that have bullied Steven’s family to tell them what a disgrace this has been. I will also boycott any sponsor of LFC and write letters asking them why they financially support a team that endorses threatening children and anti-semitism.

I’m so angry right now. My only hope is that you will let some of the insanity calm down and then come back to the air. American soccer fans need you. Don’t forget us!

People have a right to their opinions………a right to disagree with others. But to hurt peoples livelyhoods, to threaten, to intimidate by bullying is wrong!

My heart goes out to anyone who lost love ones in a tradgedy such as Hillsborough. I have losted love ones, a brother (in his late teens), a friend in Northern Ireland in the early 70’s, lost friends here in the States on 9/11. I hold those tragadies in my heart. When people make comments, such as some made after 9/11……..it hurts. But for me I look at the source and am sometimes disgusted by what I hear and read. However, I don’t go out of my way to condemn those around them, those they work for (newspaper and universitys), boycotting or try to put them out of business. Because that affects all those around that individual, who are innocent of those remarks.

We now see that the livelyhood of many people are now affrected because of a vindictive group. I am not condoning what was said. but I am troubled by what has happened. Let’s turn this around…..it’s your business, your family that now suffers because of actions such as yours. You have to go home to them and say………….we no longer have an income, we can no longer enjoy life the way we used too.

WSD I will miss your show! I did not agree with quite a few things that have been said on the show. But I think I am adult enough to know this is is a talk show…….on a subjct I am passionate about….and if you don’t want to listen to certain views you either turn off the radio or ignore the comments. Yes some of Steven Cohen’s comments have been out of order. But to delibertly go out of you way to have this program losed down……………..IS WRONG! Hey, I only listen to Sirus Radio for the EPL, WSD……….I truly enjoyed listening to the shows guest like Robby Earl etc.. Hopefully there will be another show to take the place of WSD……………or maybe it will return in another format with interesting hosts.

I will miss my 10:00am – 12:00pm football fix….Yes I live on the west coast.
