Like any other Chelsea fan, with the somewhat surprising signing of AVB (can we call him that?), I have been spending the past few days reading up on the man. (Here and here are some of the informative articles on AVB). And like most fans, I'm really intrigued by AVB's story up to this point. Making such a good impression on Bobby Robson as a teenager and being offered a place in Porto's youth coaching staff. Getting the UEFA C licence at the age of 17. Becoming the Director of Football at the British Virgin Islands before he could legally drink alcohol. Playing a vital role under Jose Mourinho. And finally becoming the youngest manager to win a European trophy with Porto in 2010-2011. It definitely has a Hollywood ring to his story (I say Christian Bale can definitely play AVB, don't you think?)
