Managerial merry-go-round in EPL
Managerial merry-go-round in EPL

Everyone over at euro2012onlinebetting.com will agree that Aston Villa have a bright, focused and fiercely ambitious young manager in Paul Lambert and after the disappointment of last season under Alex McLeish, Villa fans will be much more optimistic for the new season ahead.

He is an excellent man-manager and has the aura that all great managers possess. Lambert will back his players to the hilt and very, very rarely criticises them in public. But they will also know that if they do not show the desired effort and commitment on the pitch, Lambert will have harsh words and they will be out of the door pretty quickly.

So while Villa should be moving into calmer waters, what of Norwich City? Well despite the loss of Lambert, which on the face of it is obviously a blow, I believe they are now in a stronger position now Hughton is at the helm.

It would have been very difficult for Lambert to repeat last season’s heroic 12th place finish and second season syndrome would have been a significant barrier to overcome. But now the Canaries have a new manager, there is a freshness around the place and it is a new start for City.

You will not hear anyone in football say anything negative about Hughton and the job he did at St Andrews last year, by finishing fourth under very difficult circumstances, was outstanding.

In my opinion, both Aston Villa and Norwich City look to be in a healthier place right now. And for that, credit must go to the Canaries board, who got their man with minimal fuss.

Now, when are those fixtures announced?

In the meantime, remember you can Bet here on the Euro 2012 top goalscorer!
