Arsenal's young midfielder Denilson has refused to rule anything out when asked about his future.

The Brazilian has failed to cement a regular first team spot at the Emirates but is still highly thought of by manager Arsene Wenger.

The Gunners boss wouldn't be keen to lose the 22-year-old who has been showed his exciting potential since breaking into the senior squad in 2007. If the figures being reported are true, then Wenger may be tempted to part with the youngster for around £10 million. The football predictions suggest he could soon be on his way.

Denilson has insisted he is still happy at the club but with Barcelona and Milan reportedly interested, has refused to rule anything out.

"I am presently happy with Arsenal but I am a professional player and I can never discard anything in my future," he said.

Barca seems to be leading the race to sign Denilson with Steve McClaren's Wolfsburg also linked with a possible move. With the abundance of world-class central midfielders at the Nou Camp, Denilson would possibly be in a worse situation with regards to regular first-team action than he is now if he did decide to leave.

The Brazilian has been unlucky this season with the emergence of Jack Wilshere as Arsenal's first choice holding midfielder. Denilson had been a mainstay in the Gunners first team for the past two seasons but with Wilshere producing consistently quality performances, the Brazilian will have to be patient if he wants to remain at the Emirates.

Wenger would do well to hang on to Denilson with a busy second half of the season just around the corner. The Arsenal squad is going to be tested over the next few months, as the club look to challenge for both European and domestic honours and the football odds reflect this.

Arsenal are extremely well placed to end their silverware drought, sitting second in the league heading into the busy festive period. The club has been handed one of the toughest draws in the next round of the Champions League, as they face Barcelona. With this ever maturing squad at his disposal, Wenger will be as confident as he has ever been heading into these vital few months.
