What can I say.  Who knows whether or not soccer will ever get the complete respect it deserves here in this country, but at least when it comes to international competition, Americans are happy to show their support. 

Of course it helps that our Women's National team are incredibly good and win stuff like Olympic Medals and World Cup trophies and things like that, but I am sure you'll agree that there is something magical about the USWNT and the Women's World Cup in Germany this Summer.  If you don't agree, well... go be a pessimistic grouch elsewhere please.

I am serious.  This summer/off-season has been electric with this tournament.  The football being played is brilliant to watch.  The goals have been stellar and the matches have almost Hollywood-style story lines. 

We cannot thank Megan Rapinoe and US Soccer enough for allowing us access into the team as they prepared for France on Tuesday night, and if everything works out, we may be able to bring you more from the ladies of the USWNT before the week is through.

Best of luck girls.  We send all our love and support to you this Sunday.  Kenny and Sophie will surely shed a tear.
