In a shameless attempt to self-promote my blog, I tried to start a Twitter trend called #Songs4CFC last week. Basically, I encouraged people tweet song titles that could have been news headlines for some of the most memorable events involving Chelsea FC and the players in 2010-2011 season. For example, "It Was A Good Day" by Ice Cube will be the song title choice for Chelsea beating Manchester United 2-1 at Stamford Bridge in the league.
The idea sounds great in my head but in reality, very few people possess the degree of dorkiness required to participate in such an endeavor. Or at least they are not willing to show it publicly. So, I ended up being the only one tweeting away song titles while the rest of the world ignored as if I were a stubborn pig wiggling his pathetic little tail in an attempt to fly.
But by being the sole propagandist and the solitary protester in this Twitter "revolution," I did managed to come up with a nice list of song titles that neatly summarizes various notable events of Chelsea's 2010-2011 season. So, I thought, why not compile them in one blog post. It would just be another one of my musings that will inevitably be overlooked by anyone who has better things to do with their lives.
Without further ado, here is the Chelsea's 2010-2011 Season reviewed in song titles...
