US Midfielder, Heather O'Reilly joined Kenny in the wee hours of the morning here in Los Angeles after team USA defeated France to reach the Women's World Cup final. Heather talked with Kenny in the wind tunnel that was the team bus and discussed how her team was striving to win this tournament for the third time.
She went on to say how amazed she was at all of the support she and her teammates have been receiving from back home (the good 'ol U-S of A). She wanted to give an extra shout out to all who have been following our girls across the pond in Germany.
When asked how good this side was compared to the 1999 team, she responded that this 2011 team would beat that 1999 team. Good news, and great encouragement for all fans of team USA that our girls can bring the cup home after their match against Japan on Sunday.
