Show Recap
On the Monday edition of World Football Daily, we play a massive amount of catch to cover all the international matches we missed, starting on Friday. Our guest for the day is Eurosport commentator and European football journalist Ian Holyman. Primarily working in France, we jump to the shocking 2-0 loss that Ukraine handed les Bleus on Friday, making it a tough hill to climb when the return fixture comes around. Will France be able to come back from this result? We also talk about a let-down of a game if there ever was one when Cristiano Ronaldo heads a 1-0 victory for his country in a drab performance between he and Zlatan. It was billed to be fireworks - a master performace from world class athletes. Unfortunately it was not so. Plus, we learn about a certain Greek goal-scored who is lighting it up for club and country. Rafa comes on to quickly jump on the topic of USA taking on Scotland. In one of the most boring performances from Jurgen's men in recent memory, Scotland too failed to muster any entertainment for value. We also get an interesting email from a member who breaks down his personal performance for his Saturday league team and beckons Ollie to share his exploits as Rafa over-exaggerates his. Plus, Ribbery lets down Rafa and Ollie in his bid for Ballon d'0r and Ollie demonstrates his African football correspondent skills.... seriously. Now press play already.
