Well, there is really only one thing worth talking about today and no, we are not fans of Manchester United here. Regardless of that last fact, we cannot help but respect the man and the career of Sir Alex Ferguson. Literally the most successful manager in British football history, SAF has owned the Premier League since it's creation. Perhaps one of the best Scottish exports ever, the accolades could continue on for another hundred pages worth of text. Ollie is back and feeling more cognizant than ever. He and Rafa pay their respects to a man who has not died, and has not even left the club. Ferguson will only be retiring to the Board at United, and he plans to be very involved in selecting his replacement. The news means that this summer should be full of changes and we as football fans will not go quietly into a World Cup cycle year. Who's your bet to replace SAF? |
