The Friday show is here and we're sending you off to the weekend fully prepped and ready for all the football to be had at the weekend. Our guest for the day is the English football writer Chris Winterburn who helps us look back at some of the Premier League fixtures during the week before we look ahead to the massive football to be played in the FA Cup. We have some massive match ups this weekend with the main one being Chelsea traveling back to Manchester City to give us a rematch of a Monday Night meeting two weeks ago. Jose Mourinho's little horses take on the thoroughbreds that are Manchester City and more than likely, there are plenty of reasons why Manuel Peligrini's men will want to exact revenge. We also lucky enough to get another rematch when Liverpool hosts Arsenal this Sunday. Will Arsene Wenger's men be able to make up for the embarrassment they faced last weekend? Winterburn gives us his thoughts on the chances of Arsenal facing complete collapse in the face of a clearly tough schedule ahead of them. We are really lucky to have such interesting football to watch this season in England and Chris helps us preview this.
Rafa comes on to give everyone some sane advice for Valentine's Day, because oh yes, it's that wonderful time of the year that every sucker... uhhh, every man gets dragged into. Once we get past the Valentine's Day discussion, it's on to some major football talk from Spain where Rafa brings up a derby to end all derbies. Sort of. Real Madrid Castilla takes on Barcelona B in the Segunda Division version of el Clasico. Once we get past this, the boys talk about serious Primera Division football from la Liga with a discussion on the mental fortitude of Atletico Madrid. Then it's on to some Serie A talk before the boy send you off for the weekend. |
