Show Recap
Welcome back to the Monday edition of World Football Daily. Today, we get to look back at a weekend full of football, but one match would dominate all the talk regardless of the what actually played out on the pitch. Our guest for the day is Spanish football writer for ESPN and football correspondent for numerous other outlets, based out of San Sebastian come Phil Ball. Phil helps us look back at el Clasico from Saturday where more people are pointing at the general mistakes made by Madrid both on and off the pitch by players and coaches. Bale has been coming under a lot of criticism after that match, as has manager Carlo Ancelotti for not starting Benzema. Little is being said of Neymar making an impact on the rivalry match, scoring after 19 minutes after being hounded by the press for not adapting quick enough to the play of la Liga. We also bring up the funny little story of Atletico who are quieting making a riot in Spain and Europe. Rafa comes on to talk a little bit of el Nino, who he predicted would step up for Mourinho and Chelsea this weekend after giving everyone his IKTS scores and predictions. But the boys also talk about the incredibly effective scoring duo of S&S, Suarez and Sturridge. Plus, should Joe Hart's career effectively be ended by Club first, then Country? We talk about it here on Monday's show.
