Welcome back to a Wednesday edition of World Football Daily. Lucky for us all, there was plenty of football to talk about from Tuesday and we happily bring on appropriate guests to cover it all. Our first guest of the day is Raphael Gellar, host of the Kicking It With Raphael Show on the WFD Club Podcast feed and journalist based in Israel. Raphael has been covering the U21 European Championships and with the Final being won last night by Spain, we cannot help but wax poetic about the continued dominance of Spanish football on the global scale. Being from Israel, we get a first hand perspective on the tournament and how it has been hosted by Raphael's country. Our second guest of the day is Allen Ramsey of Goal.com who joins Ollie to review the US victory last night over Honduras. Practically punching their ticket for Brazil with the three points they picked up in Utah, the US will have a busy Summer with Gold Cup still to play next month. Klinsmann will have plenty of opportunities to show just how far his team has come since taking over. Rafa joins us, to give us his two pence on the States and their victory, but his perspective is a bit skewed. |
