Show Recap
As promised, World Football Daily finishes the week off strong. Our guest for the day is English football writer Nick Szczepanik who joins Ollie back in the UK, even though both he and Ollie were just in New York/New Jersey for the Super Bowl. It's somewhat of a tradition for us here on the show to have Nick after a Super Bowl and we make sure to quickly get his experience on this most recent Big Game. The two boys reflect on the impact that weather had on the game and it's general weekend before getting Nick's thoughts on the Bronco's collapse. Then it's down to the business for which we got the sports writer on. Two massive games at the weekend with Liverpool and Arsenal facing off on Saturday before Spurs host Everton on Sunday. Both will have massive implications on the league table and we talk to Nick about what we should expect to see from the league leaders and those fighting for a place in Europe, if not the title.

Rafa joins Ollie to play a little I Know The Score, before the boys jump into other major fixtures to keep an eye on across Europe. Berbatov slots in up top for Monaco who host Paris Saint Germain, but will be offer enough to push the principality over the top? Rafa wonders what sort of records Bayern Munich will break this weekend while Ollie is over looking at the Bundesliga Champions and has moved on to the teams fighting for European spots in Germany. We also look at some significant matches in Serie A before Rafa closes the show with a little Major League Soccer discussion, starting with Bruce Arena getting a contract extension at the Los Angeles Galaxy. We look forward to the weekend and coming back on Monday with a show worth of topics to talk about.
