Show Recap
It's the Wednesday edition of World Football Daily and where Rafa was injured for most of Monday and Tuesday, Juice steps up to the mic with bad back and trouble breathing. You may think this show is set up to fail today, but you'd be oh so wrong. We dive deeper than ever into the football world and bring on Fox Soccer Columnist and journalist for several other media outlets, Leander Schaerlaeckens joins Ollie to talk American college soccer. Now, we aren't going to jump into the NCAA tournament for soccer at the moment, but we are looking at the future of the American college soccer game and where it will fall in line with that of the professional and international game here in the States. Will college soccer be made redundant? Or will we see a potential outlet for "late-bloomers" to flourish and grow? Rafa comes on the program to give his two cents on the whole thing, having played college club soccer (confusing, we know). Then Ollie and Rafa jump into the story of Iniesta being looked at by Manchester United and whether or not that is a good or bad move for Moyes. Then we jump back into the Mexico v New Zealand match before we end up watching it today. And we close the show with a bit of Roma talk from Serie A and Ollie says many sort of glossed over the Sassuolo draw in the Eternal City. So basically, there is plenty still happening in the world of football on this hump day. All you need to do now is press play.
