Show Recap
The week starts off with a ton of football to kick about. Our guest for the day is the legendary Spanish football writer and correspondent Graham Hunter. Even though he is joining us under the weather, he is still a master at what he does and the discussion is top quality. First things first, we talk about the clash at the top of the table between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. Even though the game ended in a draw, the whole of the footballing world may be the better for it because it looks like we may have a real fight for the title this season. That's primarily because Real Madrid was able to make up ground on the leaders after scraping by Espanyol. Plus, there is the Ballon d'Or prize to give away today and we get Graham's last minute predictions. Rafa comes on the program to review some of the highlights from the Premier League weekend, including Alan Pardew losing his wits during the Manchester City match. Jermain Defoe scores a goal as he prepares to head to Toronto which prompts a discussion about whether or not TFC wish they got their man immediately instead of some time in February. That leaves a little bit of time for Spurs to take advantage of the super sub before sending him off. Rafa tries not to rub in the Allegri sacking too much, but it's hard not to when Ollie talks about his weekend's highs and lows. Press play to hear about it.
