Show Recap |
Well, to be quite honest for you, this Tuesday's show is going to focus heavily on the Ballon d'Or ceremony, trophy presentation, and surrounding awards.
Our guest for the day is a slight step away from discussion, but one of the Editors at Goal.com International, Carlo Garganese joins Ollie to talk about the Ballon d'Or trophy presentation ceremony and news coming out of Italy today. How much of a popularity contest is this whole fiasco? Should we continually be awarding individual play like this? It looks like Milan will be settling on Clarence Seedorf as the new manager for them. Is it too early for the former Milan man? Internazionale stumbled last night as a small conciliation for Ollie, but his club don't look like they will challenge the like of Juventus, Napoli, and Roma who look like they are finding their stride nicely these days. Coppa Italia graces our screens this midweek as well! We cover it all with Carlo on Tuesday's show. Rafa come on the program to really beat this Ballon d'Or ceremony to death. We get the thoughts of the two boys on the ceremony, the tears shed, the terrible presenting, the fringe awards and more. Plus, the boys break down the tomfoolery behind the voting process for various awards: the Ballon d'Or, the Puskas Award, and the FIFA XI. Speaking of the FIFA XI, both Ollie and Rafa break this squad down completely and make an argument that Bayern could field this squad alone. Plus, Suarez to replace MESSI in the FIFA XI??? Oh yes, it's true. Press play and hear what we're talking about. |
