It's a rough day here on WFD simply because American Rafa is a bit hurt after his US Squad squandered a lead away at Honduras for Concacaf World Cup Qualifiers. Then again, Juice is just fine and dandy today with England proving they could be WORLD BEATERS! Our first guest is The Guardian, Sports Illustrated and journalist for several other media outlets, Ben Lyttleton joins the program to talk about the major result from such an entertaining friendly competition between two football giants. Joe Hart stand up for Juice, and the Brazilian failed to deliver any real attacking threats on the English, while Lyttleton talks about the implications of such a friendly result. Next we are joined by Seth Vertelney of Goal.com to review the US loss to Honduras in Honduras. Dempsey gave the US the lead, but a wonder bicycle kick goal responded immediately after that and a late goal gave the host the win to put them on top of the Qualifying Hex. Thanks Jamaica for drawing Mexico in the Azteca. So much to cover, including African Cup of Nations! |
