Show Recap
Where to start on this Monday? Such a massive sporting weekend to review and Rafa does his best with a man down to the squad as Ollie is still away on holiday. Of course, Rafa gives his two pence on the US victory over South Korea, focusing on how the defense of the Americans is still shoddy and the Koreans very well may have been robbed of a goal. A friendly yes, but the US still needs to tighten up in the back. We also jump into some Spanish football as Atletico Madrid go top of the table after Barcelona lose and Real Madrid stumble to a draw. Cristiano Ronaldo may face further punishment after the straight red he received in the match against Bilbao. Rafa also pays respect to Luis Aragones who passed away at the age of 75 on Saturday in Madrid. We close the show with a little Italian and German discussion with records being broken and slaps being dealt all over.

Our guest for the day is a new one. Graham Ruthven is the English Premier League journalist for One World Sports and he joins Rafa to talk about the massive Monday Night Football match on tonight with Manchester City taking on Chelsea. With over 100 million viewers expected for this match, we analyze how important this league match is in the grand scheme of the Premier League table. Jose may have complained about 19th century football from West Ham, but will Chelsea resemble that same style of play against City? How has the edge in the clash of the rich? Graham answers these all, plus we go in to an uncharacteristic buy from the Arsenal when they picked up Kalstrom in the waning moments of the January transfer window. Lastly, we breakdown who we think will finish top four in the table come the end of the season.

Plug in those headphones and start writing your emails. We look forward to hearing from you.
