We are back in early once again to close out the week and discuss the big story of the day. That is, of course, John Terry has been stripped of his England captaincy based on the allegation he racially abused Queens Park Rangers defender Anton Ferdinand. Martin and Sophie will give their thoughts on the story.
Andy Seaby, of Chelsea Daft, joins the show to talk about Terry and also preview Chelsea's match v. Manchester United on Sunday. Giancarlo Rinaldi joins the show to preview the Serie A weekend. Collapse

Galatasaray drop 5 in 2, February 03

Dust Settles in Scotland, February 02
As the dust settles after the Transfer Deadline Day drama, as a Celtic fan, I am able to look back rather fondly, not just on yesterday, but on January as a whole. Not because Celtic made any brilliant signings, because they didn't; certainly not as I remember the destruction of Leeds (my English club) at the hands of Birmingham in front of the Elland Road crowd; but as I looked back at the first month of the year and realised: this season is in the bag.

I still love the show and even though the hosts have changed, WFD still provides the best insight into the game. If you guys even get near Chattanooga, TN please let me know and we can show you the town. We also have an NPSL team here in town that plays in the summer and it might be interesting to get your guys take on lower leagues in the US. Most of the guys are college or right out of college.
Thanks again and keep up the good work.

Can't wait to get the La Pulga Messi T-shirt. When I heard Martin talk about the offer, I renewed immediately.
Off to a strong start again this week. I think things are going along nicely for WFD, and Martin and Sophie are really shaping up well. Stay encouraged my friends. You guys keep rocking it five days a week.

Dear Sophie and Martin,
I love the show because in a world where individuality is lost, WFD helps me stand out of the crowd. I even ordered the WFD exclusive Leo Messi "La Pulga" tee shirt to flaunt my individuality. Best show ever.
And Nick Mason is a hunkasaurus rex.

You want to know why I love WFD... I love the global coverage provided by the show. Having a fellow Gooner host the show makes it that much better.
Keep up the great work and thanks for all you do. Looking forward to my Simon Kuper book.
